Can't Go Back (Book 3 of 3) by Debra Webb

ree

First Line:

There were words that could not be unsaid.

Summary:

Kerri Devlin and Luke Falco arrive at a double homicide.

Nothing makes sense.

New leads lead to new possibilities, and they will get to the bottom of the case. Even if it means digging up Falco's past.

My Review: NO SPOILERS

A great end to the trilogy

I'm so glad I got to listen to this book! Whereas the first book had me hooked and the second lost some of its steam, this book had a perfect middle ground. Being familiar with Devlin and Falco while also watching them handle a complicated case/past felt more casual. It felt like I knew their habits a bit better, and their dynamics were stronger. The ending was a bit mushy for me, but I'm glad they had a happy ending, and everyone got closure.

Satisfying!
