First Line:
Nearly midday, and still I tarried at my bedchamber writing desk, gazing out over the grounds of my ancestral home.
Summary:
Thornfield Hall and its master have fallen into shadows.
Jane does not want to leave her life or home at an all girls’ school, but she is given no choice if she wishes to remain there. As Jane slowly learns more of the manor and its master, she realizes she may not be able to save either. This threat is dark. Ancient.
And she is determined to unveil what lurks in the shadows.
My Review: NO SPOILERS
So sweet and entertaining!
Listened to the audiobook and I LOVED the reading. It was so immersive, I couldn’t stop listening!
Also I adored how Jane was kind to everyone (not that she had reason not to be). So wholesome despite the dangers she had to face. And I always love a broody MMC.
