My Review: NO SPOILERS
Entertaining, spicy, and raw
I enjoyed this one a little less than the first book, but I still had a good time reading! The first book introduced the world and characters so beautifully, while this book was focused on more deep-rooted conflicts. I enjoyed it! For me, what fell a little flat for this one was the back and forth.
The relationships, the wars, the killing. It felt a bit repetitive for me, and I found myself unintentionally skipping to the end because I was curious enough to wonder what happened. I’m also not really a fan of love triangles, so this one threw me off a bit.
While I say that, I DID enjoy the tension and angst between Blake and Aurora. I just wish it didn’t have to be stretched out between 3 books. I may not continue this series, but I enjoyed the story for what it was.

My Favorite Quote(s):
Perhaps this is the way of Wolves—to dominate, and claim ownership over one another. Perhaps this is the way of all men. I belonged to my father. I was given to Sebastian. I was taken by Callum. I was used as a pawn by Blake.
“What truth did you learn?” “That people in power mold their stories to serve their interests.
