First Line:
It’s early enough in the spring that it’s just the two of us out here.
Summary:
A couple go on an outdoor retreat to mend their relationship, but they're not the only ones in the woods.
How well do they really know each other, and will they bring back the right one?
My Review: NO SPOILERS
Hey, thanks, I hated that (as a compliment).
This series is just my worst nightmare coming true. Facing a doppelgänger that can mimic you? It’s like getting admitted to an asylum and trying to convince them you’re NOT crazy.
I hate/loved this total experience. I’ve never read a series that simultaneously terrifies me and has me curious as hell! I kept going back and forth between chapters, trying to spot little clues I could’ve missed. That ending as well! Just when you have hope, it’s dashed away, and you’re left like WTF just happened?
Loved it! Loved it! I’ll be thinking about this until the third comes out, which will probably terrorize me to the end of my days 🥲

My Favorite Quote(s):
Allison, the other woman. She has braided pigtails. Earlier she had one single braid. I have two French braids, one sticking out from under my hat on each side.
