My Review: NO SPOILERS
Adventurous, tense, and dark
What a unique plot storyline! I thought the concept of Revenants and the way the Rot was handled in this book was so cool! I really enjoyed the concept and the way the story progressed.
Cam and Annie’s dynamic was unexpected, but also really enjoyable! They made a good team, both being an inside man and woman duo. I also loved their backgrounds!
The story was slow to start for me, and kind of dragged through the last 20%, but overall I really enjoyed reading this book! Great work, and I can’t wait to read the sequel!

My Review: NO SPOILERS
An entertaining, emotional, and rewarding read
Cam and Annie are such a powerful duo, and amazing individual characters! Was there a lot of back and forth between them? Absolutely, but sticking it out is worth it.
I enjoyed the plot of this book for about 30%, and then I lost interest. To be perfectly honest, I stuck it out for Cam and Annie, and I enjoyed where their story left. Their support of each other and their push and pull relationship made sense with both of their histories.
Overall, an enjoyable read!
Thank you so much for choosing me as an ARC reader!

It had been a long day, but Annie was sleeping only a few feet away, and the sounds of her soft breathing were the most beautiful he'd ever heard.
